- Incorporate eggs, water, salt, butter, and cinnamon into the yeast mixture, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add flour, one cup at a time, until a dough ball forms.
- Fold in the raisins until evenly distributed.
- Brush a bowl with oil and allow the dough to rise for 90 minutes in a warm space, covered with a moist towel.
- After rising, divide the dough into 9 large or 12 smaller balls and place them on a baking pan.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Allow the buns to rise for an additional 30 minutes, covered with a moist towel.
- Brush the tops with the egg wash to give them a golden finish.
- Bake the buns in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix water with icing sugar until thick, then place it in a piping bag.
- Once the buns have cooled completely, pipe a cross on each one.
- Serve warm with butter and enjoy.
