Description

This easy guacamole is a must-try! With its creamy texture and vibrant taste, it combines avocados, lime, and spices for a quick, delicious dip perfect for any gathering. Enjoy it with chips or tacos for an unbeatable flavor experience!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium avocados
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 12 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 small tomatoes deseeded and diced

Instructions

  1. Slice the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado using a potato masher or a fork, keeping it slightly chunky.
  3. Mix in the cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, ½ teaspoon of salt, black pepper, and a tablespoon of lime juice.
  4. For a smoother guacamole, blend the spices into the avocado; for a chunkier mix, stir it with a rubber spatula.
  5. Fold in the chopped cilantro and diced tomatoes until well incorporated.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt or lime juice if desired.
  7. Allow the guacamole to sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  8. If making in advance, store in the fridge tightly covered, with a pit in the center and a splash of lime juice on top to prevent browning.
  9. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

For an extra kick, include diced jalapeños.
Storing guacamole properly helps retain its vibrant green color.
