Description

This green goddess yogurt dip with veggie platter offers a burst of flavor and freshness. With creamy feta, tangy yogurt, and vibrant herbs, it’s a delightful and healthy option for snacking or entertaining. Perfect for parties or a quick, nutritious boost.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 ounces of feta cheese
  • ½ cup of greek yogurt, or yogurt of choice
  • 1 avocado, pitted and removed from skin
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 ½ tablespoons of lemon juice
  • ½ cupp of fresh dill, packed
  • ¼ cup of mint, packed
  • ½ cup of green onions, lightly chopped
  • ⅓ cup of fresh basil, packed
  • 1 teaspoon of dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup of olive oil
  • ¼½ cup of water to thin
  • Salt and pepper to taste, the feta is quite salty so you may need no additional salt

Instructions

  • Combine the feta cheese, greek yogurt, avocado, garlic, lemon juice, dill, mint, green onions, basil, and dijon mustard in a food processor.
  • Start blending and gradually add ¼ cup of water. Blend until creamy, around 1-2 minutes, ensuring minimal chunks remain.
  • While blending on high, slowly drizzle in the olive oil and continue blending for another 30 seconds.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days, noting the avocado may change color.

Notes

Adjust the thickness of the dip by varying the amount of water added.
This dip pairs perfectly with a variety of fresh veggies like carrots, cucumbers, and bell peppers.
Allow the dip to chill in the fridge for enhanced flavors before serving.
