Description

This Pimento Cheese is a fabulous blend of sharp cheddar and cream cheese with zesty pimentos. Perfect for parties or a quick snack, it’s creamy, flavorful, and easy to prepare!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups extra sharp cheddar cheese
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup light mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces diced pimento (drained)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt (or dash table salt)
  • dash black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Use a hand mixer to blend everything together until smooth.
  2. Taste the mixture and adjust seasoning, adding more cayenne powder, salt, and pepper as needed.
  3. Serve with crackers and fresh vegetables.

Notes

For added flavor, let the cheese sit for an hour in the refrigerator before serving.
This cheese spread pairs wonderfully with toasted bread or fresh veggies.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They should last about a week.
