Description

This Slow Cooker Baileys Irish Cream Hot Chocolate offers a delightful fusion of rich chocolate and creamy Baileys, perfect for cozy gatherings or as a sweet treat. With simple prep and delicious ingredients, this recipe delivers warmth and comfort to everyone.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz. ghiradelli semi-sweet chocolate baking squares
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup baileys® irish cream
  • marshmallows or whipped cream

Instructions

  • Break up the chocolate squares and place them in the slow cooker.
  • Add the remaining ingredients, except for the Baileys Irish Cream.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 1.5 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
  • Once the cocoa is hot, stir in the Baileys Irish Cream.
  • Prepare mugs, whipped cream, and a bowl of marshmallows for self-serving from the slow cooker.
  • Set the slow cooker to warm for up to 3 hours while allowing guests to help themselves.

Notes

Stir frequently when on warm to maintain a smooth consistency.
Feel free to adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of sugar.
For a richer flavor, add more Baileys to taste.
