Description

Ingredients

  • ½ cup tahini ((112g))
  • ⅓ cup fresh lemon juice ((80mL))
  • ¼ cup water ((60mL))
  • 2 small garlic cloves (grated)
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the tahini, lemon juice, water, garlic, and salt. The tahini will initially clump together but will become smooth as you mix everything thoroughly.
  2. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add more water to adjust the consistency, and taste to adjust the flavor with more lemon juice or salt as desired.

Notes

For a creamier texture, blend the ingredients in a food processor or blender.
This sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
