Description

These Turkey Meat Balls are bursting with flavor and are super simple to prepare. With juicy ground turkey and fresh herbs, they make for a quick and healthy dinner option that everyone will love!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup plain bread crumbs, or italian breadcrumbs
  • 2 shallots, minced (approx. ¼ cup)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons cold butter, grated
  • 1 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, minced
  • ½ teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 24-oz. marinara sauce, 2 jars
  • 8 oz. angel hair pasta, or any kind of pasta
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • more fresh basil and parsley

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, shallots, garlic, oregano, parsley, basil, ground pepper, and salt.
  2. Using a large wooden spoon or your hands, mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Fold the grated butter into the meatball mixture, ensuring it's evenly distributed.
  4. Form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs until all the meat is used, yielding around 12 meatballs.

Notes

Make sure to refrigerate any leftovers within two hours for freshness.
These meatballs can be baked or cooked in a skillet for added flavor.
Serve with your favorite marinara sauce and pasta for a complete meal.
