Description

These Air Fryer Apple Cider Donuts are bursting with irresistible flavor and made from simple ingredients. With just a few steps, you’ll create a delightful treat that’s perfect for sharing or enjoying yourself!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 16.3 ounce can flaky biscuits
  • 1 cup apple cider

Instructions

  1. Line a tray with parchment paper or set out a wire rack for cooling the donuts.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon, then set it aside.
  3. Pour the apple cider into a small saucepan, simmer on medium-high heat until it reduces slightly, then set aside.
  4. Open the biscuit dough, separate the biscuits, and use a small round object to punch out the centers to create donut shapes.
  5. Line the air fryer basket with a parchment round or spray with oil to prevent sticking.
  6. In batches, add four donuts to the air fryer basket, ensuring they're not touching each other.
  7. Air fry at 350°F for 3 minutes, flip the donuts, and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  8. Transfer the hot donuts to the tray or wire rack and repeat with the remaining dough.
  9. Once warm, brush each donut with the reduced apple cider and roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture for coating.
  10. Serve immediately while warm and enjoy.

Notes

For best results, don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket while cooking.
These donuts are best enjoyed fresh, although they can last a day in an airtight container.
Adjust the amount of cinnamon sugar according to taste.
