- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon almond milk, plain, unsweetened
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375℉.
- In a bowl, combine the diced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Toss to ensure the apples are coated.
- Add flour, baking powder, and salt into the bowl, and stir to mix thoroughly.
- Incorporate the blended cottage cheese and mix using a wooden spoon or silicone spatula. Once a dough ball forms, knead in the bowl with your hands.
- Lightly flour a surface, turn out the dough, and divide it into 4 pieces.
- Shape 2 pieces into round fritters on parchment paper, pressing down gently.
- Air fry at 375℉ for 4 minutes, flip, and air fry for another 4 minutes until fully cooked. Repeat with remaining dough.
- For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar and almond milk in a bowl until combined.
- When the fritters are ready, dip each into the glaze, then transfer them to a wire cooling rack.
- Let the glaze set for a few minutes before serving.
