Description

These Air Fryer Salmon Bites offer irresistible flavor and simple preparation. Perfect for a healthy meal or a quick dinner, they are made with tender salmon, spices, and a hint of sweetness, making them a delightful homemade choice!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds salmon fillets, boneless, skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • Chili crisp oil (optional) for drizzling
  • Toasted sesame seeds (optional) for garnish
  • Sliced green onion (optional) for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the salmon pieces and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat thoroughly.
  2. In a separate small bowl, mix cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, and brown sugar.
  3. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the salmon and toss gently until the pieces are evenly coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Place the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding. Cook in batches if needed.
  6. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the salmon is golden and cooked through.
  7. After cooking, drizzle with chili crisp oil if desired, and serve hot garnished with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Enjoy!

Notes

To enhance the flavor, consider marinating the salmon for 30 minutes before cooking.
These bites can be served over rice or as a standalone dish.
Feel free to adjust the spices according to your taste preference.
