This BBQ Chicken Marinade offers irresistible flavor with simple prep. Made with chicken breast, BBQ sauce, and garlic, it’s perfect for quick dinners!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken breast, boneless, skinless
- 1/2 cup bbq sauce
- 1/4 cup italian dressing
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, pressed
Instructions
- Whisk together BBQ sauce, Italian dressing, apple cider vinegar, and pressed garlic to create the marinade.
- Poke the chicken all over with a fork. Place the chicken in a dish or zip-top bag and pour the marinade over to cover completely. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
- Heat the grill to medium and brush with oil to prevent sticking. Place chicken on the grill and cook for 4-6 minutes per side, depending on the thickness. Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165˚F.
- Once cooked, remove chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
Marinate for at least 30 minutes for best flavor.
Use a meat thermometer to check the chicken’s internal temperature for safety.
Leftover marinade can be discarded or boiled for a sauce.
