Experience a delightful treat with our Berry Trifle. This easy-to-make dessert combines layers of fluffy whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and blueberries, making it a perfect choice for any gathering or special occasion. Its fresh flavors and beautiful presentation will make you the star of your next gathering!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups whipping cream
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 angel food cake (or pound cake, 10 to 12 ounces)
  • 2 pounds strawberries
  • 1 pint blueberries
  • 3 tablespoons seedless strawberry jam
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or sugar)
  • ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by whisking the strawberry jam, lemon juice, honey, and ¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract in a small bowl until well combined.
  2. In a trifle dish or clear serving bowl, layer one-third of the angel food cake pieces at the bottom.
  3. Spread half of the whipped cream mixture over the cake pieces.
  4. Add half of the strawberries and blueberries over the cream layer.
  5. Repeat the layers by adding another third of the cake, the remaining whipped cream, and the remaining berries.
  6. Top with the remaining cake pieces and garnish with extra berries on top before serving.

Notes

Use fresh seasonal berries for the best flavor.
You can prepare the layers ahead of time and assemble just before serving for convenience.
For a lighter version, you can use Greek yogurt instead of whipping cream.
