- 1 (11 oz) bag Kraft Caramels, Unwrapped
- 1 cup Butter
- 7 1/2 cups Mini Marshmallows
- 7 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
Instructions
- Spray a 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
- Unwrap the caramels and reserve 10 for later.
- Melt the remaining caramels in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat, then remove from heat once melted.
- Stir in the melted caramel and 5 1/2 cups of mini marshmallows, mixing until almost combined.
- Add Rice Krispies to the mixture, and then fold in the remaining 2 cups of mini marshmallows once thoroughly mixed.
- Gently press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
- Melt the reserved 10 caramels in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted caramels over the top of the treats.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of salt to the butter while melting.
Use fresh marshmallows for the best chewy texture.
