Ingredients

  • 1 (11 oz) bag Kraft Caramels, Unwrapped
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 7 1/2 cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 7 cups Rice Krispies Cereal

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
  2. Unwrap the caramels and reserve 10 for later.
  3. Melt the remaining caramels in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  4. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat, then remove from heat once melted.
  5. Stir in the melted caramel and 5 1/2 cups of mini marshmallows, mixing until almost combined.
  6. Add Rice Krispies to the mixture, and then fold in the remaining 2 cups of mini marshmallows once thoroughly mixed.
  7. Gently press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  8. Melt the reserved 10 caramels in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  9. Drizzle the melted caramels over the top of the treats.
  10. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of salt to the butter while melting.
Use fresh marshmallows for the best chewy texture.
These treats can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
