Ingredients
Scale
- 12 Frozen Dinner Rolls
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- ½ cup butter, melted
- ⅓ cup Parmesan cheese
- Mozzarella cheese block, cut into ½ inch pieces
Instructions
- Place frozen dinner rolls in a greased cast-iron skillet or baking dish. Cover with another pan and let the dough rise at room temperature for 1 hour.
- Cut the mozzarella block into ½-inch cubes for a total of 12 cubes, one for each roll.
- Stretch each roll around a mozzarella cube and pinch the seams tightly. Return the rolls seam-side down to the skillet.
- Cover the stuffed rolls and let them rise for 2 to 3 hours until doubled in size and soft when pressed.
- Mix melted butter with granulated garlic and brush half over the rolls, reserving the rest for later.
- Sprinkle the tops with ⅓ cup Parmesan cheese right before baking.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and brush remaining garlic butter over the hot rolls.
Notes
Ensure the rolls are tightly sealed to prevent leaking cheese during baking.
For a crispier crust, bake a little longer until the rolls are golden brown.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container; reheat in the oven for best results.
