- 4 cups fresh blueberries
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and spray a 9 x 9 inch pan with non-stick spray.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the blueberries, sugar, flour, lemon juice, nutmeg, cinnamon, and water. Cook until the mixture thickens.
- In a separate bowl, mix the topping ingredients: flour, brown sugar, quick oats, and cubed cold butter. Use a pastry cutter or fork to create a crumbly texture and sprinkle it over the berry mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
