  • 24 oz vegan ground beef
  • 1 cup parboiled white rice
  • ¼ cup grated carrot
  • ¼ cup raisins (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 medium green cabbage
  • Fresh dill, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the minced onion and salt; sauté until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 2 minutes or until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce, vegetable broth, sugar, and black pepper, and bring to a simmer.
  4. Allow the mixture to simmer for 10 minutes while stirring occasionally, and adjust the salt and black pepper to your liking.

Notes
