- 1 cup unsalted butter softened at room temperature
- 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4 Tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the egg yolks, evaporated milk, vanilla extract, and sugar until well combined and heated for 12-15 minutes, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the shredded coconut and toasted pecans. Pour into a glass bowl and let it cool completely.
