Ingredients
Scale
- ⅓ cup olive oil or vegetable oil
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar
- 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt or to taste
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Instructions
- Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl or freezer bag and add the chicken, tossing well to coat.
- Cover or seal the chicken and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off and discard the remaining marinade.
- Place the chicken on the grill for 7 to 8 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 7 to 8 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F.
- Transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for 3 to 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
Ensure the grill is properly preheated for even cooking.
Letting the chicken rest helps retain its juices.
