Description

These Marry Me Chicken Sliders are an irresistible choice for any meal. Featuring flavorful rotisserie chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and gooey Monterey jack cheese, they are easy to prepare and perfect for a quick dinner or lively gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ¾ cup (178.5 g) heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup (810 whole) sun-dried tomatoes, soaked in hot water, drained, & chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ⅓ cup (33 g) grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1 package (12 count) king’s hawaiian sweet rolls
  • ½ cup (15 g) fresh baby spinach
  • 1 cup (113 g) monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup (½ stick / 57 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a 7×11-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic powder, kosher salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, and grated parmesan cheese.
  3. Add the shredded rotisserie chicken to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. Layer half of the sliced Hawaiian sweet rolls in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Spoon the chicken mixture over the rolls, then top with fresh baby spinach and shredded Monterey jack cheese.
  6. Place the remaining sweet rolls on top of the cheese layer.
  7. Melt the unsalted butter and combine with minced garlic to create garlic butter, then brush this mixture over the top rolls.
  8. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the rolls for garnish before baking.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are golden brown.

Notes

Feel free to substitute chicken with turkey for a lighter version.
For extra flavor, add sautéed onions or bell peppers to the chicken mixture.
These sliders are great for meal prep—reheat in the oven for best results.
