- 1 graham cracker crust
- 15 ounces mandarin oranges, 1 can drained, juice reserved
- 3.4 ounces orange jello mix
- 12 ounces orange creamsicle yogurt (2 containers)
- 8 ounces whipped cream plus more for topping (optional)
Instructions
- In a large glass bowl, add the orange gelatin along with 1/4 cup of reserved mandarin orange juice and microwave on high for 1 minute. Place the gelatin mixture in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to thicken.
- Once chilled, whisk in the orange yogurt and Cool Whip. Gently fold in 1/2 cup of chopped mandarin oranges.
- Pour the pie filling into the prepared pie crust and top with dollops of whipped cream and whole mandarin oranges.
- Refrigerate until it sets, which should take around 4 hours. For a frozen dessert, freeze for 2 hours.
Notes
For a sweeter pie, you can add a bit of sugar to the filling mixture when whisking in the yogurt.
Feel free to garnish with additional mandarin oranges and whipped cream before serving for an extra special touch.
