Description

This Peach Cobbler features juicy peach slices and a buttery, cake-like topping that’s easy to prepare. Perfect for satisfying your dessert cravings or impressing guests with a homemade touch.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peach slices peeled
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes, until the sugar melts and the mixture is warm.
  3. Pour the melted butter into the bottom of the prepared baking dish without stirring.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth, then pour this mixture into the baking dish over the butter without stirring.
  5. Spoon the peach mixture evenly over the batter, including some juice, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 38-42 minutes until golden and bubbling at the edges.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Adjust sugar to taste depending on the sweetness of the peaches.
Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days.
