Description

This Strawberry Heaven Dessert features an angel food cake layered with creamy vanilla pudding, strawberry pie filling, and whipped topping. Easy to prepare and perfect for any gathering, it’s a sweet delight that will impress your guests!


Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz) angel food cake
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling
  • 1 (8 oz) container cool whip (thawed)
  • fresh strawberries, optional

Instructions

  1. Cut the angel food cake into cubes and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding mix, whole milk, and heavy cream. Beat together on low speed and gradually increase for 2 minutes until thickened.
  3. In a 9 x 13 pan, arrange half of the angel food cake cubes evenly on the bottom.
  4. Dollop about two-thirds of the strawberry pie filling over the cake cubes.
  5. Spread the vanilla pudding mixture evenly over the strawberry filling.
  6. Add the remaining strawberry pie filling on top of the pudding layer.
  7. Spread the thawed Cool Whip evenly over the top layer.
  8. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours before serving.
  9. Optional: Garnish with fresh strawberries before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use fresh strawberries as a garnish.
Make sure the Cool Whip is fully thawed for easy spreading.
Allowing the dessert to chill enhances the flavors.
